Bridgette & Mike - MARRIED 8.15.09

This past weekend was a lovely weekend of outdoor weddings, on the road and reunions!  I started out with Bridgette and Mike in Aurora, NY.  I grew up with Bridgette and her wonderful family in D-Town, and we both met Mike during our Cross Country days at Ithaca College.  Bridgette and Mike’s love connection grew over their years together there, and I was so excited to be a part of their wedding day.  They had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Aurora Inn, about 45 minutes up the lake from Ithaca.  It is so beautiful in upstate New York, and the Aurora Inn is no exception to that.  Situated right on the lake, the ceremony was down by the shore while the reception was held in a tent off the back of the inn.  There are some very cool ruins on the property, and at dinner time they set up a campfire down by the water.  Bridgette looked beautiful and Mike was a very proud and handsome groom.  The guests braved the heat to tear up the dance floor for a bit, and in place of a cake they had cannolis from Wegmans!
