Catherine & Mike – MARRIED 8.7.09
Weddings never get old for me. Each one is different, each couple is special, and there’s always one moment that takes my breath away at some point during the day. I usually tear up, and I am always full of happiness for the couple as they make their promises to one another and share their love. Sigh…I guess I am just a romantic! Catherine and Mike were no exception to that, and on this particular Friday I had my moment during their first dance. They were surrounded by their (giant!) bridal party, their family and their friends, but it was like they were the only ones in the room. It was such a special thing. Catherine was a beautiful bride, and Mike a very proud and handsome groom. Rosie’s Posies did a terrific job with their floral arrangements, especially the centerpieces. The Secret Service Band kept the guests up on the dance floor throughout the night and got some willing audience participation going on. I was so happy to work with my good friend Ken Stillman once again, and the staff at the Grand Marquis put together a fabulous night as well! Thank you to Catherine and Mike for letting me share your day with you! Congratulations!
I am a sucker for a pooch in a bow-tie!

Catherine’s mom made her beautiful gown for her!

LOVE the blue of the bridemaid dresses! And Catherine’s mom broke out her wedding album to show the girls before we left for the church.

Sigh…kids!

Then we were off to the landing in Perth Amboy for some photos on the piers.

Mike does his best “Singin’ in the Rain” impression here!

Here’s that first dance!!!
